Art in Woodstock is an annual Visual Arts Festival whose aim is to celebrate visual arts within the Town, to promote artists and their work, to take Art into new and unusual spaces and to encourage everyone to engage with the Arts.
 
Last year Art in Woodstock had 36 Artists exhibiting in 24 different Venues. We had 6 workshops, 6 talks and 3 competitions. There was also a 90ft Art Wall erected in the middle of the town as an arts feast for anyone to take part in, from children to the elderly; everyone got to make their mark!
 
So why not join us for the 2008 festival to make it an even BIGGER event!!

Mail Art Project 2008

Take part in this year’s festival by participating in our ‘Mail Art Project 2008’, based on the theme of:
‘Woodstocks around the world.’
All work must be post-card sized and will be exhibited during the event

In order to encourage early submissions of entries, the committee will meet regularly throughout the submission period to match work with suitable venues.
