Saturday October 24th - Sunday November 1st 2009
An annual Visual Arts Festival whose aim is to celebrate visual arts within the Town, to promote artists and their work, to take Art into new and unusual spaces and to encourage everyone to engage with the Arts.
The Third Great Year will see over 30 artists exhibiting, workshops including Pop up Poetry and Galleries to Go, talks from well established people such as Mike Stanley, Director of Modern Art Oxford and John Carey, chief literary critic of the Sunday Times. We will also be presenting Smart in Woodstock

Paint a smART car in the Town Square, daily 11am - 4pm during the festival.

The programme of workshops this year has something for everyone. Under 8s can get creative with pasta and pulses!
8 - 12 years can create aboriginal designs or their own version of the Mona Lisa
13 - 18 years can create graffiti portraits.
Adults are encouraged to just come and draw curious objects.
